Dr. Carri Cook is a family wellness chiropractor who takes a special interest in caring for women during and after their pregnancy. She is certified in the Webster technique which is a specific technique used by chiropractors only on a pregnant woman's body during her 9 month journey. The Webster technique reduces interference to the nervous system, improving function of the pelvic muscles and ligaments leading to the reduction of constraint to the woman's uterus allowing the fetus the best opportunity to be positioned for a healthy birth. Dr. Carri also works with many families to help their children (from newborn to teens) live their healthiest life!
Dr. Carri Cook is from southern California and attended California State University, Northridge where she received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies and Kinesiology. She then went on to Southern California University of Health Sciences to study chiropractic and graduated on the Dean's List. She is a member of the Holistic Pediatric Association, American Pregnancy Association, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is licensed by the state of California as well as the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She has been in private practice since September of 2004. Dr. Carri is married to Jason and together they have two daughters. She is also the proud step-mom to two wonderful college students.
Dr. Saira Zimmerman, aka Dr. Sai, discovered her love for chiropractic while working as a chiropractic assistant in 2007. After her niece was born in 2010, she began attending seminars to better serve the pediatric population and her focus shifted. Dr. Sai graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2014 and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
During her time at SCUHS, she attended numerous seminars in functional medicine, functional neurology, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Active Release Technique (ART), Activator Methods, kinesio-taping and Webster Technique. She is a self-proclaimed seminar junkie and still attends when every she can.
In 2006, Dr. Sai joined the U.S. Army Reserves as a 68W, Healthcare Specialist/Combat Medic. During her training, she received her NREMT license which is still active today. She served 6 years at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, CA. When she was promoted to E-6/SSG, she was transferred to March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, CA, where she still serves today. She is the Medical Section Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) and Platoon Sergeant (PSG).
Dr. Sai is married to Chris and they have a Morkie named Jameson. In her spare time, Dr. Sai loves to attend various sporting events and belongs to a weekly trivia team. She is very close to her family and spends a lot of time with her nieces and nephews.
Dr. Susanna Drmandjian received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Science, earning a spot on the Dean’s list and graduating with honors. Prior to attending SCUHS, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge where she majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science. During her time at CSUN, she was involved in an Adapted Physical Activity facility as an intern utilizing exercise programs and rehab designed for adults and children with disabilities.
Dr. Suzy has also received her Webster Technique certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has experience treating patients during pregnancy. She enjoys working with children and understands the need for proper biomechanics for a growing child. She often attends seminars targeted for the pediatric population in order to provide the best possible care. Dr. Suzy is versed in the McKenzie Method, specifically a Mechanical Diagnostic and Therapy Technique, for both the cervical and lumbar regions of the spine, to help safely assess and treat mechanical spinal pain.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, her mission and promise is to supply all elements needed to achieve whole-body health through adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, nutrition and therapeutic exercise. Dr. Suzy believes a patient’s understanding of the body as a whole is a very important element of care. She understands that each individual should receive quality and effective chiropractic care backed by the most current research.
